Bereavement
Bereavement Committee
Comforting mourners is one of the mitzvahs our congregation does best. For years, Kathy Sloan and Beth Fassler have been in charge of the bereavement committee - a loosely organized group of people who always show up when needed. The strength of our community is ever-present when someone suffers a loss, when living rooms are full for shiva services and when people volunteer to provide a meal and take care of the needs of mourners.
If you are interested in joining this wonderful group of individuals in providing comfort in times of loss, please contact the temple office at volunteer@orrishon.org.
