Shirei TOR - Musical Expressions 2025-2026

Aimed at providing high quality music to Temple Or Rishon and the Sacramento Valley, Shirei TOR seeks to bring local and emerging artists spanning a variety of musical genres from classical, to klezmer, to musical theatre, to jazz, and much more.

GimMeZ'mor and Rock Shabbat

TOR's in-house Shabbat Band – GimMeZ'mor – helps to lead monthly Rock Shabbat Services at 7:00 and other musical offerings throughout the year. This uplifting, engaging, and alive service is for all ages and walks of Judaism. Join us for a Pre-Shabbat Family Dinner at 6:00.

High Holy Day Choir

The High Holy Day Choir at TOR has been an integral part of our worship experience for over 30 years. Congregants and members of our extended community come together to enrich our services by lending their voices and other musical talents during the Yamim Noraim.

Rehearsals take place at TOR on select Sunday afternoons and Wednesday evenings from August through the High Holy Days including a rehearsal between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
