Temple Or Rishon is proud to have individuals who are dedicated to the caring of our community. Our Mitzvah Network encompasses the many different areas of care and need that people face during their lifetime.
The Temple Or Rishon Mitzvah Network is where we come to commit ourselves to mitzvah, and to share with others the love and joy that comes from bringing caring and compassion into our lives.
Caring for the world around us, caring for those who are closest to us, and caring more deeply for ourselves - this is what we do at Temple Or Rishon, this is who we are, this is why we exist!

This year's projects include:
Onsite Projects:
9am to 11am - Shed Clean out: cleaning out and reorganizing the shed in the TOR parking lot
9am to 11am - Sanctuary Chair Repair: reattaching seats and backs and generally cleaning our blue sanctuary chairs
Offsite Projects:
10:00am to 11:30am - Gan Shalom Cemetery Clean up: providing some TLC for our section of the Sunset Lawn Cemetary on Marysville Road in Sacramento. Garden gloves, small buckets, scrub brushes and trash bags recommended.
9:00am to 12:00pm - Congregant Yard Work: providing some general yard clean up and sprinkler repair for a TOR congregant. If you have experience in landscaping and/or sprinkler repair, please let us know!
5:15pm to 7:30pm - Serving Dinner for Gathering Inn: we will prepare and serve a taco dinner for the un-housed clients of the Gathering Inn. Dinner is served at the First United Methodist Church in Roseville. Click here to sign up to bring food and to serve.
