Mitzvah Network

CLICK HERE FOR MITZVAH OF THE MONTH

Temple Or Rishon is proud to have individuals who are dedicated to the caring of our community. Our Mitzvah Network encompasses the many different areas of care and need that people face during their lifetime.

The Temple Or Rishon Mitzvah Network is where we come to commit ourselves to mitzvah, and to share with others the love and joy that comes from bringing caring and compassion into our lives.

Caring for the world around us, caring for those who are closest to us, and caring more deeply for ourselves - this is what we do at Temple Or Rishon, this is who we are, this is why we exist!

Becoming more involved in Temple Or Rishon's Mitzvah Network, is a great way to engage in our community. For more information, please email us at volunteer@orrishon.org, or call the temple office!

All Month - Supporting the CSUS Food Pantry
This year, the CSUS Food Pantry has seen an increase in need for food from 500 students/families to 700. In addition to these students, for the Thanksgiving holiday they are also providing meals for International Students who are not going home for fear they would not be able to return to their studies after the break. The Food Pantry is sponsoring two "Friendsgiving" meals - November 24th and 25th. They are raising funds with a goal of $21,000 to pay for this effort. Additionally, they are asking for 30 home-made  pies for the meal on November 25th. We would love to be able to meet this need.
