Temple Or Rishon is proud to have individuals who are dedicated to the caring of our community. Our Mitzvah Network encompasses the many different areas of care and need that people face during their lifetime. 

The Temple Or Rishon Mitzvah Network is where we come to commit ourselves to mitzvah, and to share with others the love and joy that comes from bringing caring and compassion into our lives. 

 Caring for the world around us, caring for those who are closest to us, and caring more deeply for ourselves - this is what we do at Temple Or Rishon, this is who we are, this is why we exist!

Gathering Inn Meal at First United Methodist Church of Roseville
Sunday, February 22nd at 5:30pm
Sign up to serve the meal on 2/22 or sign up to provide the food and extra snacks for the event. CLICK HERE to sign up.

Volunteer at Feeding the Foothills (formerly Placer County Food Bank)
Tuesday, March 3rd from 1pm to 3pm

Diaper and Wipe Drive
benefiting Lighthouse Family Services
We donated more than 650 diapers and 35 packages of wipes!!! Thank you!!!
 
September
Gas Card Drive
benefiting Keaton's Childhood Cancer Alliance
We donated more than $700 in gas cards!!
High Holy Day Food Drive
benefiting the TOR food pantry and Orangevale Food Bank
We donated more than 600lbs of food!
 
October
Dinner for Gathering Inn at Roseville United Methodist Church
We served a hot meal to over 60 people!
 
November
November 16th - Vitalant Blood Drive  
We donated 23 lifesaving units of blood and baked 35 pies for the CSUS Food Pantry Friendsgiving!
 
December
Gift Card Drive for Sac State Food Pantry
We donated $1100 in gift cards for Sac State Students for Winter Break
