This three part class will explore the early history of Jews coming to America and the later migrations from western and easter Europe and how the contributed to the rise and advancement of Reform and Conservative Judaism in the US. Topics will also include the growth of women’s roles in Judaism, Israel, the influence of modern culture and anti-semitism.
