Summer Academy

The TOR/Tahoe Summer academy is an opportunity for our kids to connect Jewishly throughout the summer. With engaging programming multiple times per week, students can log in to participate in real time, and/or view the sessions at their leisure from Facebook Live videos and on Youtube.

If you need supplies for any of the activities we are doing, please click the button below to have them delivered. (Supplies can be delivered for any week of activities, even after it has passed)

Thursday, July 30th
1:00pm - 1:45pm - Summer Academy: Volcanos!
Platform: Zoom and Facebook Live
Join TOR’s youth director, Jacob Fefer along with teens Riley Froomin and Sam Weltsch as we make a mega volcano!!!
Materials Needed:
 - a bottle or jar (preferrably glass)
 - vinegar
 - baking soda
 - dish soap
 - liquid food coloring

We are looking for short videos where you share what certain words/values mean to you. So, take a phone or tablet and record your answer to one (or all) of these questions. Then send your video to youth@orrishon.org. Make sure in the email to tell us which question you answered.

Who knows, maybe your video will end up on one of the Weekend Torah Update videos!!!
